I'm here to share about my 6 hours of my life with you . My First activity for my 6 hour journal is Night Fishing . I was rotting at home when my parent's got back , and i told them that i was rotting and wanted to go some where else to spent my time instead of wasting it in front of my computer . To my surprise my dad asked if we should go for a fishing trip . By the time he mention about it , the sun is nearly on its way to the horizon . That made me think , i never been to a night fishing trip before , and i know my dad was just joking but i have to pursued him to bring us out . This wasn't my first time fishing , but it's my first when it comes to fishing in a total pitch dark beach . I wasn't clear about how could we even catch anything but i just wanted to have some family time .

I was surprise that my dad wasn't joking and was determine , but he never got his ass off the couch and my mum was nagging at him like a typewriter that never runs out of ink :X . My Dad is all talk no action , but i made the first move . I took out all his fishing gear and started to push him to get his other stuff ready . He asked if i knew how to tie a hook , i said i knew because i wanted him to get off the couch and go to his room and get changed . So he asked me to show him but i couldn't and he taught me how to tie a hook ! He told me that my mum's dad (grandpa) taught him how to tie a hook too ! I guess this is how knowledge are pass on when there's no teacher and no school , families will get together and teach one another what they had learnt . I reckon that's what happen in the past , but in this era it's kinda hard to settle down with our family and talk and meet each other eyes . It's because everyone is just too busy to earn money for their family , they forgot to spend their time with them instead of the money .

Back to our topic . shall we ?

Everyone was in a rush preparing , except for my dad who is enjoying his own sweet time .

My mum got really piss when my dad didn't help preparing anything , he wanted to have a tent there and some foods and drink was a necessary to us , YET the one preparing the most is my mum . I'm guilty , but i did help out . By filling up a BOTTLE of water . God , i feel so guilty .

When we were all done , my dad drove us to changi village to buy the baits for the fish ! FISH FISHY ! That picture was taken when my dad and i were FISHING through the shop for baits and other necessary equipment that we didn't had for our Night Fishing . It was getting EXCITING ! I could smell the Sea ! Even though I'm in a shop with a fat cat !

This fat cat was found lying on the floor making no motion at all ! I thought it was dead , so i got a closer look . It look straight into my eye and got shocked , i guess it's trying to tell me not to disturb it from sleeping .

So i go round the shop trying to find some thing special , something that will catch my eye !

This bait caught my attention , it looked like one of my bait in my PSP game . So i took a picture of it to show to everyone how realistic it look like !

My dad was walking around trying to find the best bait he could find . I guess all he can think of is just fish , tent , beer , overnight at the beach .

But i had something in mind ! Get some picture , try to catch some fish , learn everything that is possible for me to learn on this trip to our First Night Fishing ! Oh Boy ! I'm so excited , this is the second time i said this .

We got to our location , and i was thinking that which weird people will fish during the night . After i saw a line of Fishing rods with green glow sticks on the tip of each rod , i was surprise to see 10 or more people spending their time fishing ! I couldn't control my Excitement and i started to assemble the fishing rod and left the important part like connecting the fishing lines to the rod and putting the bait so that the bait wont get off the hook that easily during my casting of line .

I was even more surprise that they caught fishes and shrimp just by shining lights on the water and wait for the fishes to come and then cast the net over them ! The box that the use to hold the fishes and shrimp was almost full ! A shrimp tried to escape by failed as it landed on the sand and struggle . They are like fisherman , with their nets and fishing equipment .

Under the night sky , i look at my float as it drift along the current of the sea . I was enjoying the night sky when suddenly i felt something on the end of the line , i tried to reel it in but i found out half way , it was my dad's line that was at the end of it . It happen three time and i am not surprise as the sea current is only flowing towards my dad's line . I got smart and cast my line away from it but it still got stuck there , eventually i got tired and cast a short line so it won't get stuck again . As i was looking around i saw uncles with fishing rods and a glow stick on their bait , I was shock to see that they cast they line twice as far as my dad did . I wanted to learn from them , so i was like a little bird in a nest and watching other old birds doing their daily stuff . I soon pick up the method but what happen next was never in my mind .

The Line Went SNAP ! I turn around quickly too see if there is anyone looking at me , how embarrassing !! I quickly took up the line and ran back to the tent and told me that i'm tired and i broke the line . My Sister came back with her legs covered in sand and mine was too , so we headed to the toilet to get ourself clean and head back home . I Wish there will be another time for us to get together and have a family trip , so i can learn something new .
